An Invitation

To Work

With Me.

I take overwhelming amounts of work, projects, ideas, goals, tasks and sort them out for people so they can move forward with ease and relief - in life & work.

I do this through mentoring, training, sharing knowledge and in some cases rescuing, going 'hands-on, roll my sleeves up' and do some of the work alongside my clients.

It always comes down to one of two things -
1. A problem starting something
2. A problem finishing something

Which one is it for you?

1. Books I Love Writing

Buy These Books For Yourself Or Give To A Friend. They are uplifting, positive, helpful and sometimes entertaining!

I really like writing concept books. Books that are easy to read that take an interesting concept out for a spin and provide a new perspective ... Read more

2. Speaking & Training I Like To Deliver

I run workshops and training for clients on demand and occasionally run some public workshops as well.  I really enjoy doing this work and keen to do more.

I started out my career as a secondary school teacher - who knew I've come a full circle and back into delivering education - or maybe I never really left!

Workshop - Plan Good Feel Good - Quarterly Planning

I facilitate 'planning days' each quarter for small business owners. Every business should have dedicated planning time in their business and most owners forget to schedule this time, so I am their accountability partner in making sure they do it. And it's a powerful day we get down to goals, targets and where the money is going to come from and how as busy business owners we will ensure we look after ourselves along the way. Read more

In this workshop I share a technique that anyone can do to map out the customer experience journey in their business for any product or service they deliver. I provide templates and even produce their journey maps after the workshop as a A3 full colour poster they can share with the rest of their teams and even customers. Your customers will thank you for taking this workshop. Read more

Training - How To Take A Project From Start To Finish

There are only 6 places you can be on any project. If I can help you work out where you are, I guarantee I can help you get that project and you moving forward. This is customised training for individuals or small groups. It's project management, without the boring bits! For entrepreneurial thinkers and doers only. 1 or 2 day formats.

3. Mentoring

I love mentoring and being a sounding board for people who have thoughts to sort out in their heads. My clients refer to me as 'their thought organiser' or 'work therapist'. Enquire here about my mentoring program.

So what is a mentor?

  • Someone who advises but doesn’t fix
  • Someone who provides support and accountability, empathises but doesn’t overprotect
  • Someone who identifies gaps in understanding, strategy or skills & facilitates better learning & discovery
  • Someone who provides guidance, not judgement
  • Someone who is a confidential sounding board

Women who aren't done yet and want to get going on that thing they have been thinking about but not getting to do.

Women from all walks of life and ages find me when they want to take on their dream project or make a big life change. I offer a 3 session mentoring program to support these women through their decision making journey helping them uncover what is stopping them from chasing their dreams and then helping them get started. Many of my clients complete the 3 sessions, take a break to implement what they have discovered and then come back to continue with me for longer time, usually 6 months to 2 years.

Heart-Centered Community & Not For Profit Leaders Wanting To Grow Their Skills To Deliver Even More Impact

I work with CEO's of non-profits and their teams to help their get more efficient and productive so they can do more with what they have and become effective leaders and change makers for the communities that they serve.

People facing 'Life After Work'

Whether the decision to retire, semi-retire or just cut back on work has come at a time voluntarily or is forced upon you, it's a super important time to get clear on what's important to you and what the next chapter hold for you. I can help you work through the decision making until you arrive at something that really gets you excited and inspired for their next chapter of your life

4. Magazines

Hello epic business owners, thought leaders, change-makers, heart centred coaches and non-profit CEO's!

I thought I'd share a really clever tool with you that will help your message stand out from the crowd.

In my company Something Good Magazines, we co-create share worthy magazines. Print & Digital

We accidentally discovered this in 2019 and since then have gone on to help over 60+ clients create their own magazines for their business and organisations.

Business Magazines | Personal Brand Magazines | Cause Related Magazines | Wedding Magazines

We do this because we love everything about the magazine strategy, design and creation process and get so much joy at seeing each edition launched into the stratosphere. In fact, our very first magazine received over 1.6 million online views, so we knew we were in the right place and it truly was love at first sight!

We have created magazines in Australia, New Zealand, USA and Paris for thought leaders, coaches, hairdressers, accountants, hotels, cake makers, nutritionists, entertainers, non-profits, speakers, eco-friendly companies, tech companies and now even wedding couples!

Some of our clients have the need for a once-off magazine, others are creating theirs monthly or quarterly.

Read More Here about getting your own magazine. It's easier than you might think

5. Project Rescue

Sometimes our projects don't go to plan. Often they don't and it can be very frustrating, time wasting and exhausting. I always remind my clients that projects rarely go in a straight line, so don't plan them that way.

I am here to help business owners and entrepreneurs with a 'rescue service' for their projects that they have fallen out of love with, running over time or the ones that aren't going anywhere fast.

Why? Because slow implementation is the natural enemy of every business owner.

Project Rescue is a unique service for 'projects AND their owners!'

You can outsource a whole project to me OR I can work alongside your team and help them get it done OR it can be a bit of both.

I've done literally 1000's of projects, specialising in business improvement projects, but also in education, live entertainment and sport. Read my Bio here

This service is like having your own personal project manager for a short period of time. Once the project is completed or your team is trained up, you don't need my service anymore.

Enquire here to set up a call with me to discuss your project needs or the problem you are facing

6. Life Legacy Creating

Since 2014, I have been helping entrepreneurs, parents, business owners and founders across 4 countries, work on their initiatives and projects that they want to get done in this lifetime as part of their life legacy.

I have been researching this topic since that time as well and have collected a great deal of insight into what legacy means for people (hint: it means many different things) and will be sharing this in an upcoming book and podcast to get this conversation going.

For many this is a private project

Most of my clients are pursuing their legacy work behind the scenes of their 'day to day public ' life. Some are doing it publicly.

For many, legacy is not an ego concept, it is simply the way they contribute or give back in this lifetime

I have developed a 'Starters Guide to Thinking About What Your Life Legacy Might Be'. You can download it for free from June 2022.

If you are at that time in your life, where this issue is keeping you up at night and that whisper inside your head is not going away, then we may be a great fit to work together.

Enquire here for a confidential discussion with me about your thoughts on your life legacy and where you may want to head.

For me personally, and for my organisation Heads Together, Alison is one of the most incredible listeners I’ve ever met, and she always manages to challenge in you in a way that feels right for you and your team.

Her coaching, centred around finding clarity of purpose, organisational concepts and people management, has been invaluable, and has deeply influenced our entire organisation, from board level all the way through to managing volunteers and stakeholders.

Alison is an integral part of our team and anyone in the commercial or non-profit sector would be crazy not to get her on board, she’s just that good!"
